Major reshuffle in Maharashtra police department

Sandeep Bisnoi, ADGP (SRPF) has been transferred as ADGP (establishment) Maharashtra police, while Dhanajay Kamlakar, ADGP (coastal security) has been transferred to the post of ADGP of planning and coordination of Maharashtra police.

Sanjay Saxena, joint commissioner of police, crime in Mumbai, has been promoted and transferred as the ADGP of training and special ops. Dr Archana Tyagi, joint commissioner of police, administration in Mumbai police, has been promoted as the ADGP of SRPF. Ashutosh Dumbre, joint commissioner of police, EOW, Mumbai, has been shifted as the joint commissioner of crime (Mumbai city), while Vinay Choubey, who was the inspector general of Nashik range, has replaced Dumbre.

KMM Prasanna, additional commissioner of police of the Mumbai crime branch, has been promoted and transferred as the inspector general of Nagpur range. Cheering Dorge, additional commissioner of police (west region), has been promoted and transferred as the inspector general (IG) of police, Nashik range, while his wife Ashwini Dorge, who was the additional commissioner of police, armed police headquarters, Naigaon, has been promoted and transferred as the director of Maharashtra police academy in Nashik.

Suhas Warke, inspector general (IG), who was posted in ATS, has been promoted and transferred as special inspector general of Nanded, while Yashasvi Yadav who was the Aurangabad police commissioner and was sent on compulsory leave by the state government, is special IG of coastal security and VIP security, Mumbai.

RD Shinde, who was posted as the additional commissioner of police protection and special security Mumbai, has been promoted and transferred as director, SID Pune. Santosh Rastogi has been transferred to the administration department.
