Atra, an Ahmedabad resident, came to the city to attend a business meeting in Bhiwandi. He was travelling back home on Saturday when he alighted from the train to buy a bottle of water. CCTV camera footage showed that he was carrying loose change and a water bottle.

When Atra attempted to board the train, he lost his balance and fell in the gap between the train and the platform.

Government railway police officials said his body was unrecognisable after the ordeal he had undergone.
