A newborn boy was found with his throat slit near a housing society at Dombivli on Monday, police said.

According to the police, a resident found the body while clearing garbage.

According to the police, the body was wrapped in a plastic bag.

“When a resident from the society was clearing the garbage area near the building, he found the body in a plastic bag. Later, he alerted other residents and who alerted the police,” said a police officer from Manpada police station.

“We have questioned the society residents. Also, there are no CCTV cameras nearby. We have also checked a few hospital and maternity homes, ” said a police officer.
