MUMBAI: The Mumbai police on Saturday served a legal notice to Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) office bearer Ameya Khopkar for his statement, following the Uri terror attacks, asking Pakistani artistes to leave the country or they would be dealt with in the party’s style.

The notice, which was served a day after the statement was made by Khopkar, stated that the police anticipated a law and order situation from taking place as MNS volunteers may follow orders and target Pakistani artistes. The notice was served as pert the provisions of section 149 of the criminal procedure code making Khopkar liable if any such incident takes place.
