MUMBAI: The Supreme Court has rejected the Special Leave Petition filed by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) — the apex body for engineering colleges — against the Bombay HC’s decision to grant interim relief to an engineering college in the city and another from Kolhapur that were barred from admitting students. “We wanted the SC to put a stay on HC’s interim relief, but the court didn’t accept our plea,” said Anil Sahasrabudhe, AICTE chairman.
