BHIWANDI: Three youths were arrested over the bottle explosion in which a 45-year-old woman lost her hand in Padgha-Bhiwandi. The accused are Pramod Dalvi, 25, who works in a private company, Roshan Shelar, 19, a second year BA student, and Pramod’s brother Siddesh, 20, a school dropout who made the low-intensity bomb. On July 26, the accused tied a gift-wrapped bottle to 22-year-old Abhijeet Gharat’s bike. His mother opened the bottle and was injured. Abhijeet interfered in his friend’s love life and had assaulted Pramod a couple of months ago. When Siddesh came to know about it, he decided to teach Abhijeet a lesson.
