11 killed in car crash in rain on Mumbai-Goa highway

Police said the Chavan family was returning from Sangam-eshwar, after meeting a prospective bride for the younger son, when their Toyota Qualis, carrying 12 people, collided with the dumper-truck at Dabhil village in Ratnagiri district.

A neighbour of the Chavans was pulled out alive from the wreckage, but in a critical condition.
