19-year-old dies in road accident
A 19-year-old boy was killed when a tempo hit his bike at the Dinkar Rao Desai Road in Aarey Colony, on Sunday.

A 19-year-old boy was killed when a tempo hit his bike at the Dinkar Rao Desai Road in Aarey Colony, on Sunday.
The driver of the tempo has been arrested and booked for rash and negligent driving. The victim, Vicky Vasant Jadhav and his friend Premjeet Gautam Gaikwad (15) were coming from Marol towards Goregaon.
Jadhav, who was riding the bike, tried to overtake the tempo and lost control of the vehicle and hit the tempo. Due to the impact of the collision between the two vehicles, Jadhav sustained grievous injury on his forehead, said the police.
The duo was rushed to Bhagwati Hospital where Jadhav was declared dead and Gaikwad who was riding pillion, sustained head injuries.
