Dossa, an alleged close aide of don Dawood Ibrahim, was transferred to Thane jail after he allegedly attacked gangster Abu Salem inside the Arthur road jail.
“The court dismissed our application though we still have not got the copy of the order from the court”, said Dossa’s lawyer Sultan Khan
Salem and Dossa were shifted from Arthur Road jail after Dossa allegedly attacked Abu Salem inside Arthur Road jail following which a case of attempt to murder was registered against Dossa at the N M Joshi Marg police station. The investigation was subsequently transferred to crime branch.
Dossa and his aide Abdul Qayyum allegedly attacked Salem with a sharp spoon outside their barrack following a heated argument.
Dossa is facing trial for his alleged role in the 1993 serial blasts case, along with Salem, Qayyum and Riyaz Siddiqui.
