30-yr-old woman’s body found on tracks
The body of a 30-year-old woman was found on the railway tracks between Vasai to Nallasopara on Friday around 1.30pm.

The deceased, identified as Baljeet Kaur, was taken to Bhagwati Hospital where she was declared dead.
Inspector S Chauhan from Vasai Government Railway Police (GRP) said: “We suspect that the woman fell from the train which was going towards Virar. We have no
witnesses so we do not know how she fell of or whether there is anything suspicious. Presently, we have registered an accidental death report in the case.”
Chauhan said they had identified the victim with the help of the season ticket that she was carrying. “The season ticket was from Santacruz to Goregaon. However, we don’t have any other details. No one has come forward to identify her.”
He added: “We did not find a mobile or purse next to the deceased’s body. Our officers are still inspecting the spot to find something that belonged to her.”
