MUMBAI: The Vakola police arrested an 80-year-old man for allegedly killing his 3-year-old grandson at SRA Khandvala Compound, Santacruz, on Sunday night. The accused, Nivruti Kharche, allegedly threw the minor, Mayuresh, from the balcony of their home on the sixth floor around 10.30 pm, said the police. According to the police, Mayuresh’s mother Surekha, 31, a housewife, had an argument over a domestic issue, which irked Nivruti, who then flung Mayuresh out of the balcony.
