Are you filing FIR against Bhujbal: HC to EOW
The Bombay high court on Friday asked the Economic Offences Wing (EOW) of the Mumbai police to file an additional affidavit stating whether or not it would file an FIR against NCP leader and cabinet minister Chhagan Bhujbal and his family members in a case of alleged misappropriation of Mumbai Educational Trust (MET) funds and property.

The Bombay high court on Friday asked the Economic Offences Wing (EOW) of the Mumbai police to file an additional affidavit stating whether or not it would file an FIR against NCP leader and cabinet minister Chhagan Bhujbal and his family members in a case of alleged misappropriation of Mumbai Educational Trust (MET) funds and property.
The EOW has to file the affidavit by July 13.
Sunil Karve, founder trustee and vice-chairman of MET, has filed a petition alleging that the minister and his family have embezzled the trust funds and property for personal benefit.
