Ayushman Khurana's domestic help found dead in actor's home

Bollywood actor Ayushman Khurana's 26-year-old domestic help, Shiv Prasad, was found dead in the actor's house in Goregaon (W), Mumbai on Sunday evening.

The Mumbai police have registered a case of accidental death as there were no signs of any forced entry, nor any suicide note was found.

Actor Khurana, also an anchor and a singer, was in Delhi for a shoot and was informed by the police about the death of his domestic help. Khurana said that the report of his death came as a shock to him.

"It is very unfortunate. I am saddened by the news of my house help committing suicide. We are in the process of garnering all the information. All the due procedures are being observed," Ayushmann, who is currently shooting in Delhi, said in a statement.

Shiv Prasad's body was found hanging from the fan.

Ayushman's neighbours felt a peculiar stench coming from his house and called the police. The police broke into the house to find Shiv Prasad's body hanging from the fan. It is being speculated that Shiv has been dead for over three days.

The police is investigating for further details.
