A group of 25 to 30 women entered the victim’s house at Mira Dargah street, allegedly dragged her out of her house and stripped her on July 10.

Additional Sessions Judge C. K. Bhedi, granted the accused bail on a bond of Rs 3,000 each, after the police said they will soon be filing a chargesheet in the case.

The mob attacked the girl allegedly to avenge an incident of rape on a minor in which the girl’s brother Vijay was an accuse. The girl in her complaint told the police that people belonging to the upper caste were ill-treating her and her family.

She also said the women used to make casteist remarks and didn’t allow them to draw water from the water pump.
