Dev Benegal’s Road, Movie starring Abhay Deol, Tannistha Chatterjee and Satish Kaushik, has been selected for the Opening Night Generation Gala of the festival.

At the film festivals in Toronto, Tokyo and Doha last year, Road, Movie earned critical acclaim.

Sandeep Bhargava of Indian Film Company, which is co-producing Road, Movie in association with Benegal, said, “We as a studio are proud of all kind of films we produce. The incredible festival run of Road, Movie is testimony of our vision to back high quality content. Its selection as the opening film of Generation at Berlinale is another statuette.”
