The scholarship will fund the studies of the trio — selected on the basis of their academic performance in school and personal interviews — at the University of Cambridge in the UK.

Jesika Haria from Dhirubhai Ambani International School will receive the scholarship to study engineering at Emmanuel College, Cambridge.

“It is both an honour and a privilege. This accomplishment gives me the impetus to perform even better in my forthcoming IB examinations and keep up the same at university,” said Haria.

Neal Duggal from Mallya Aditi International School, Bangalore and Rudrajit Banerjee from The Cambridge School, Kolkata, are the other two recipients.

The university started the scholarship in 2009.
