On Saturday, the minimum temperatures dipped to 15.7 degree Celsius, departure from the previous day’s temperatures recorded at 16.2 degree Celsius. The maximum temperatures also witnessed a minor dip at 29 degree Celsius from an average 31 degree Celsius over the last few days.

According to weathermen, the city can continue to look forward to a pleasant Sunday with minimum temperatures at 16 degree Celsius, normal for this season.

“The continuous flow of northerly winds over the region has caused a fall in the temperatures. It is likely to stay like this for another day,” said an official from the India Meteorological Department, western region.

Last week, the temperatures in the city dipped because of a cyclonic circulation over eastern Rajasthan.

As a result, parts of south Mumbai experienced light showers with negligible amount of rainfall at 0.1mm. The city’s northern suburbs enjoyed cool winds but did not witness any rain.
