Thorawade said he had not entered Cama Hospital on the night of November 26, despite knowing a police team led by Additional Commissioner of Police Sadanad Date was countering two attackers inside.

He said he wasn’t aware of Date’s instructions to his staff to reach the hospital after collecting bulletproof vests and arms and ammunition.

Special Judge M.L. Tahiliyani had recalled Thorawade, as he had failed to narrate the incident he had witnessed on Mahapalika Marg, opposite Cama Hospital.
