Cops probe Andheri firm robbery
The police will question workers of Goldie Jewel, a gold refining firm at Seepz in Andheri (East), for leads after gold dust worth Rs 54 lakh was stolen from the firm on Friday.

The MIDC police have registered a case of break-in against an unidentified man.
“The burglar broke the window grill and entered the office through the window,” said a police official.
Deputy Commissioner of Police (Zone X) Prakash Mutiyal said: “The statements of the workers of the firm have been recorded. We cannot ascertain the exact cost of the gold dust but the owner had claimed that it is worth around Rs 54 lakh.”
The police said as the unit is small there were no CCTV cameras installed there. The police will also question people working in similar units around the area. The police are investigating if more than one person was involved in the theft.
