A 28-year-old employee of a diamond-trading firm allegedly committed suicide by throwing himself from a Tardeo skyscraper on Wednesday.
A 28-year-old employee of a diamond-trading firm allegedly committed suicide by throwing himself from a Tardeo skyscraper on Wednesday.

The police have identified the deceased as Jignesh Shah, a resident of CP Tank in Marine Lines.
According to the police officials, the incident happened at the 30 storey Enterprise tower located in Tardeo, when Jignesh had gone to meet his grandfather who resides on the 1st floor of the building.
The officials said that after meeting his grandfather’s family,
Jignesh walked upto the 20th floor of the building and allegedly jumped from there.
The locals, who saw the body lying in the pool of blood, immediately informed the police, who rushed to the spot and did a panchnama of the incident.
The police said that no suicide note was found from the spot.
“The motive behind the alleged suicide could not be ascertain as of now, ” said a police officer.
The initial investigation done by the police revealed that Jignesh had been working in the diamond industry for the past two years. The police are in the process of recording the statements of his family members and friends.
