According to police, the victim and her friend were out looking for her aunt at around 01.00 hours on Friday when the accused Farid Sayyed (22) and his friend Rahul Naik (20)
intercepted them near N G Park in Dahisar.

The accused slapped the 15-year-old victim, took her to an isolated place and raped her, police said.

The duo threatened the victim and her friend of dire consequences if they revealed about the incident to anyone, Senior Inspector P B Kakad at Dahisar Police Station said.

On Friday morning, the victim lodged a complaint with police following which Farid, driver by profession, was arrested the same day while his unemployed friend Rahul was nabbed last night, Kakad said adding that further probe was on.
