Suspecting her of having an affair, a man stabbed his wife at DB Marg on Friday.
Soon after the incident, Sapna Shaikh, 36, was rushed to Nair Hospital, where she is undergoing treatment.
In her statement to the DB Marg police, Shaikh said that she married Tipu Sultan, 30, five years ago.
Shaikh had divorced her first husband, with whom she has two children.
The couple had a fight over the issue, following which she attacked by Sultan.
The police have registered a case against Sultan, who is currently absconding, and are trying to trace him.
