Give info on calls made by suspects: HC to mobile firms

The Bombay High Court on Monday asked all major mobile service providers to provide information about calls made y the suspects in the alleged fake encounter of Ramnarayan Gupta alias Lakkhan Bhhaiya, an alleged Chhota Rajan gang member, in 2006.

The service providers are to make the data available “as expeditiously as possible and preferably within four weeks,” the division bench of B.H. Marlapalle and Anoop Mohta said.

The court was hearing the petition filed by advocate Ramprasad Gupta, Ramnarayan’s brother.
