Sena workers continued its protest on the fourth day on Friday. A group of activists, led by Lok Sabha members Shivajirao Adhalrao-Patil and Gajanan Babar, crossed the barricades outside the bungalow.

Adhalrao-Patil and Babar were allowed to enter the bungalow. They talked with officials of the channel, who expressed their inability to take any decision on the continuation of shooting.

Adhalrao-Patil and Babar also spoke to district collector R.K. Gaikwad. Adhalrao-Patil told HT that Gaikwad assured him he would take steps immediately.

More than 50 Sena workers were detained and released.

Gaikwad told HT he had received a police report. “We are checking legal aspects on how the shooting can be stopped to maintain law and order. A decision (on serving a notice) will be taken soon.”

The Colors channel spokesperson declined to comment.
