LPG customers get 15-day extension to submit forms

Residents holding multiple LPG gas connections now have a 15-day deadline extension to submit their Know Your Customer (KYC) forms to their distributors, as the deadline for the same was extended from October 31 to November 15.

Residents holding multiple LPG gas connections now have a 15-day deadline extension to submit their Know Your Customer (KYC) forms to their distributors, as the deadline for the same was extended from October 31 to November 15.

Customers whose names appear on the transparency portals of respective oil companies, and are identified to be holding multiple connections will need to submit proof of identity and address along with KYC details.

The list of multiple connection holders will also be available with distributors. Customers with single connections need not submit KYC details.

For the first time, oil companies have also made it possible to transfer LPG connections among family members, or to the legal heir of the registered customer.
