Man confesses to killing wife
Tired of frequent quarrels with his wife because of his drinking habit, a 32-year-old man strangled her on Wednesday.

Tired of frequent quarrels with his wife because of his drinking habit, a 32-year-old man strangled her on Wednesday.
Kala Konnar (25) was found dead in her flat at Sunder Darshan Complex in Mira Road.
When the police reached the spot, Kala's husband Isekhidas Konnar was not at home. Police registered a case of accidental death. The post-mortem report revealed she had died due to compressing of neck. "When questioned, he admitted to killing his wife," said Police Sub-Inspector Anil Chandar Gopal.
Isekhidas, who has newspaper stalls, told the police that he would drink occasionally.
"On Wednesday Isekhidas came home drunk and the couple got into a figh," added Gopal.
He has been remanded in police custody until August 16.
