According to the police, Gaus Mohamed Naseem Khan (42), a small-time Kandivli-based businessman, was with his two friends — Harish (42) and Rajesh (30) at a bar and restaurant in Goregaon (East).

Both Harish and Rajesh are residents of Goregaon (West).

Khan, who was to pay a part of the bill amount, gave less money than he was supposed. Harish and Rajesh got angry and started arguing.

They also started hitting him. “Khan was injured in his left hand and forehead. The duo escaped. The police have registered a case of voluntarily causing hurt against the duo, who are still at large,” said senior inspector Suresh Shinde.
