Javed Mozawalla is likely to be interrogated by Military Intelligence Services (MIS) officials. This is because the police had recovered several photographs of army cantonment areas (in Mumbai, Pune and elsewhere) as well as the Air Force facility at Lonavala from him. The MIS will try to find out how he gained entry into those restricted areas.

Joint commissioner of police, crime, Himanshu Roy, said photographs of several vital installations recovered from Mozawalla suggest he had been trained adequately to identify breach points at these places, possibly for sabotage plans. “The photographs have been taken in a specific manner, like the height of the wall, vulnerable points, security watch towers, and so on,” Roy said.

Alongside, the police will also question all those whose visas for Pakistan were arranged by Mozawalla in the past two-three years. The police are also trying to find out how Mozawalla purchased a one BHK flat in Mazagaon (Infinity Towers), the market price of which is more than Rs 60 lakh.
