Music, quizzes rule Mood-I on Day 3
The entire IIT-Bombay (IIT-B) campus swayed to Swedish pop sensation Meja on Wednesday. As Mood-I, the annual cultural festival of IIT-Bombay in partnership with Hindustan Times, reached its third day.

But the most excited was 40-year-old Meja. It was Swedish singer’s first performance in India. Her popular songs include Private Emotion, a duet with Ricky Martin, and All ‘Bout The Money.
“I love the vibe here and the crowds are amazing. It was a pleasure performing here,” said Meja.
Inching towards the end, many competitions on campus wound up. Stagecraft, the one act play competition had five finalists chosen from 26 entries. IIT-B and DAV, Chandigarh, were declared winners.
They won an opportunity to perform at the National Centre for the Performing Arts (NCPA). Road Rage, the street dance competition, had 22 college troupes displaying their skills and students from IIT- Kanpur emerged on the top.Visitors had their heads buzzing with a plethora of quizzes.
Head Butt, the football quiz saw avid football fans dodging each other. Déjà vu, the daily life quiz saw massive participation too.Adding to the evening grandeur was the Fusion Night by Alms for Shanti and Raghav Sachar with over 9000 fans trying to find place to stand.
“These four days are perfect to catch up with the best music gigs in town. Mood-I always brings down the best bands,” said Sunil Sarkar, a student.
After the concert, the people proceeded to watch Park, a critically acclaimed Hindi play by Manav Kaul.
