NAB presents 'Suraksha Rakhis' to Army

In a touching gesture, visually impaired women of the National Association for the Blind (NAB) tied 'Suraksha Rakhis' to Army Officers at the Mumbai Sub Area Headquarters here today.

In a touching gesture, visually impaired women of the National Association for the Blind (NAB) tied 'Suraksha Rakhis' to Army Officers at the Mumbai Sub Area Headquarters on Mumbai today.

The 'rakhis' were made by the NAB members and each carried a small message expressing their solidarity with the soldiers.

They also presented one lakh rakhis for the Jawans posted in the forward areas in the North and the North East, a Defence spokesperson said.

A group from the Association will visit forward areas and tie rakhis to the troops. The visit to the Bikaner sector has been organized by the Headquarters, Mumbai Sub Area.
