BEST had restored electricity supply to the building, which forms part of commercial unit in a SRA project, on May 26 after interim orders from the HC. However, BEST has again issued a notice to Harsiddhi residents asking them to show cause why electricity supply to their building should not be discontinued for non-compliance of statutory requirements.

Acting on a petition filed by a resident, Renuka Shah, the HC on Friday directed BEST to decide on the show-cause notice after hearing the residents.
