Home Minister RR Patil told the House that investigative agencies probing the case cannot be demoralised by demanding that the matter be handed over to CBI.

Patil said despite the delay in investigations, probe is heading in the right direction.

He said the Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS) from seven to eight states like Gujarat, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka along with a team of National Investigative Agency (NIA) are helping the state ATS to trace the culprits.

Even CBI sleuths are co-ordinating with the investigative agencies on the job, he said.

The minister said even in the Jaipur, Gujarat and Karnataka blasts, the state ATS had helped the investigating agencies in those states to nail the accused.
