"We are waiting for things to return to normalcy. We are hoping that eye witnesses would come forward soon to provide us information on the other people who were involved," said Vijaykant Sagar, sub divisional police officer (Boisar).
"The complainant has mentioned 40 to 50 unidentified persons who were involved in vandalizing the hospital. We have arrested 10 persons and are trying to get evidences to nail other persons involved," said Sagar adding, "It was due to the bandh and the tension prevailing in the area that the investigations pertaining to the vandalisation incident did not gather pace."
The police said all the accused in the case have been booked for unlawful assembly, rioting, act endangering life and personal safety of others, causing damage to property and for house trespass.
