A 33-year-old man killed his wife and two-year-old daughter and later committed suicide on Sunday night, reports HT Correspondent.

A 33-year-old man killed his wife and two-year-old daughter and later committed suicide on Sunday night. The incident came into light on Monday morning when the Axis Bank employee Amol Kamble’s mother opened his flat in Shraddha Terrace society in Pashan area, with the help of a watchman, and found her son hanging and daughter-in-law and grand-daughter lying dead on the bed.

The police said that Kamble in his suicide note wrote that “Economic crisis and continuous quarrel at home” forced him to kill his wife and daughter while ending his own life as well. Kamble killed wife Veena (28) and daughter Akruti by strangulation.

Senior Police Inspector Mahadev Chavan said, “The suicide note by Kamble also states that no one other than him should be held responsible for the act. We are now examining the note”.

It is the second such incident in Pune in two months. On October 8, 2009 four members of a family committed suicide in Pune’s Kothrud area.
