Mahajan, who married Dimpy Ganguly on a reality television show, registered his marriage with the ward office in Lower Parel.

Mahajan, son of the late BJP senior leader Pramod Mahajan, selected his bride from fourteen other girls, finally marrying Ganguly on March 6 on national television.

“The entire ward office was buzzing with journalists and cameras,” said a source from the ward office.

Dressed in a bright red salwar kameez, Ganguly smiled and posed for the shutterbugs, while Mahajan dressed in a crisp white shirt and blue jeans gave bites to the journalists.

The couple lives in Worli and hence the G-south ward office is where they had to register their marriage.
