If Friday’s situation is an indicator, you can expect a weekend full of woes as weathermen have predicted heavy rainfall over the next couple of days.

A few hours of rain caused flooding in several spots at Parel, Dadar, Mahim, Kurla and Andheri on Friday, leading to 18 complaints of waterlogging within two hours.

Services on Central Railway (CR) and Western Railway (WR) were running 15-20 minutes behind schedule owing to low visibility, signal failures and waterlogging at some places.

There was also loss of life, as a youth was electrocuted at Vile Parle and another drow-ned at Dadar Chowpatty.
