RR announces reward for info
Home Minister R.R. Patil on Tuesday announced a reward of Rs 2.5 lakh to anyone offering clues or information on the Nehru Nagar rapist and murderer.

Home Minister R.R. Patil on Tuesday announced a reward of Rs 2.5 lakh to anyone offering clues or information on the Nehru Nagar rapist and murderer.
“The reward is to help the police crack the case sooner. Many times, people may have information but don’t have enough incentive to go to the police. The reward is the incentive,’’ said Patil.
Patil visited Nehru Nagar on Sunday night and announced a special unit of the joint commissioner of police, crime, and law and order to investigate the case.
Patil has given the police an ultimatum to crack the case in a week.
