Sr citizen killed in Palm Beach Road accident
Sadanand Gharat, 62, was killed in an accident on Palm Beach road in Navi Mumbai on Friday morning after he lost control of his speeding car.

Sadanand Gharat, 62, was killed in an accident on Palm Beach road in Navi Mumbai on Friday morning after he lost control of his speeding car.
Gharat was driving a Logan car to Panvel from Vashi at around 6am when the accident took place, the police said.
An official from the Nerul police station said, "Gharat seems to have lost control of the car and hit the divider. The car rebounded and ended up in the pit below. By the time he was taken to the hospital, he was declared dead."
The 10-km road has witnessed over 300 accidents, with more than 50 dead and almost 200 injured, in the last four years.
Authorities said the reason for accidents is speeding, as the road has been designed as an internal city road, and not a highway.
