Three persons were killed and one injured after a gas tanker caught fire in Dhule district on Monday night, police said.

Three persons were killed and one injured after a gas tanker caught fire in Dhule district on Monday night, police said.
“The injured were rushed to hospital,” district SP Pradeep Deshpande said over the phone.
During the rescue operation, police recovered three bodies from the accident site.
Chief minister Prithviraj Chavan has announced financial assistance of Rs 1 lakh to the kin of each of those killed and Rs 25,000 to the injured.
Several vehicles including a truck, two cars and two autorickshaws were gutted in the accident.
