The owner of a video parlour and his companion was allegedly shot at by three motorcycle-borne unidentified men at Vakola in suburban Santacruz, police said on Thursday.
The owner of a video parlour and his companion was allegedly shot at by three motorcycle-borne unidentified men at Vakola in suburban Santacruz, police said on Thursday.
"The incident occurred when the victims -- Krishna Shetty, owner of a video parlour, and his companion Gomes --were sitting outside the shop," senior inspector of Vakola police station Anil Kharade told PTI.
Four rounds were fired at the duo this evening, police said, adding it was not immediately clear whether one or all of the three unidentified motorcycle-borne men shot at the duo. One of the accused was wearing helmet.
"The injured were rushed to nearby hospital and they are out of danger now," he added.
Kharade said the accused fled the spot after the incident and further investigations were on.
