37-year-old Viveka took the extreme step on Friday evening by hanging herself from a ceiling fan at her residence in suburban Bandra.

Police recovered several letters addressed to Gautam in her apartment.

Fearing arrest, Gautam had filed for anticipatory bail before the court.

According to police, Viveka and Gautam, who were dating from the last few months, had an argument a day before the supermodel committed suicide.
