Water supply in parts of western suburbs from Bandra to Andheri (East) will be affected for a few days starting Monday, June 20 due to repair works on Tansa main water pipelines at Khar (East), and Versova and Vile Parle outlets.
Areas that falls under H-east ward, Hansbugra Road, Teachers Colony, MIG colony, Service Road, Gandhi Nagar, Government colony, Husain hill, Saibaba Road to Jawahar Nagar, Navpada, Behram Nagar, Kher Nagar, Kherwadi, Bharat Nagar, Dnyaneshwar Nagar, Maharashtra Nagar, Bandra-Kurla Complex, Bandra Railway Terminus, Andheri Om Nagar, Sahar Village, Santosheemata Nagar, JB Nagar (partly), Kanti Nagar and International Airport will not get water on Monday for 9 hours from 7am to 4pm.
Several parts of Andheri, Vile Parle and Oshiwara will face 100% water cut on June 21-22 and June 28-29 due to pipeline repairs of Veravali reservoir. The civic body has planned to commence work at Versova and Vile Parle from Veravali reservoir-II.
On Tuesday, June 21, Parle outlet will be isolated for repair works. So areas like Kajuwadi, Charat Singh colony, Parle East area, NS Phadke Marg, Jeeva Mahale Road, Kol Dongri Road, PMGP colony, Poonam Nagar, Kalpataru and Green Field Society along JVLR, Sher-e-Punjab, SVP Road, Mahakali Caves Road, Malpa Dongri No.3 will not get water for 24 hours from 8am on June 21, according to civic hydraulic department.
Versova outlet will be isolated on June 28 and water supply will not be available for 24 hours from 2am on June 28 to areas like SV Road, JP Road, Gilbert Hill, Veera Desai Road, Four Bungalows, Yari Road, Versova, Moragaon, Lokhandwala complex and NS Phadke Marg.
