At the Grand Finale of the HT City Youth Nexus, the war of colleges reached new heights as the participants gave thrilling final performances in the Western Dance, Rock Band and Choreography competitions.

“We’re going to set the stage on fire!” said Nikita Gupta, president, Western Dance group at Indraprastha College for Women. And the audience got more than they expected. “The performances of all the colleges were amazing. This year the competition is really tough,” said Meenakshi of ICW.

If the dancers on stage were not enough, the crowd themselves grooved to a DJ session. “DJ Sumit Sethi was excellent with his rocking numbers. I just wish this event could be two times a year,” said Geet Kumar of Jagannath Institute of Management Sciences.

That’s not all. The fourth day of the nexus also saw performances by rock bands Astitva, Them Clones, Faridkot and Parikrama, for whom, the crowd waited patiently.

“We really enjoyed Parikrama’s performance,” said DU students Aarish Kalam and Alisha Bharadwaj. The results for all the inter-college competition were announced yesterday, the fifth and the final day of the HT City Youth Nexus.
