Adele earns £80K a day, 4 years since last album

Her music career has taken something of a backseat as she dedicates her time to her two-year-old son Angelo Adkins, but her bank balance is still looking pretty healthy as she is reportedly 'earning £80,000 a day'.

Her music career has taken something of a backseat as she dedicates her time to her two-year-old son Angelo Adkins, but her bank balance is still looking pretty healthy.

Dailymail.co.uk reports that The Sun has revealed that 26-year-old is apparently taking home £80,000 a day despite not releasing a new album in the last four years. Her two companies earned £54 million in the 22 months up to Dec 31, 2013, according to newly released accounts.

Her largest company, Melted Stone, netted £30.4 million in the 14 months leading up to April 2013 and a further £8 million in the rest of that year.

Adele paid herself £5.25 million dividend in the second part of 2013.

Despite her own success, the singer likes to champion other performers where possible and her last three tweets have been in support of some of her competitors.
