A source close to Diljit says, "He just couldn't believe that he was being called to be part of a song that also featured Gurdas. In fact, even after he reached the sets, he wasn't sure as to how he will react when he meets the veteran singer."

Diljit confirmed the story, saying, "It was one of the biggest moments of my life. I am speechless. Babaji (God) has been really kind to me. I am not even close to the eminence of the legendary Gurdas Maanji. The song will be aired on August 15. This collaboration is very close to my heart. The track also has a strong message that our generation and nation should focus on."
