“I love being here. It’s such a huge country and I have been to a lot of cities. The first time we performed, it was an incredible sight to see so many people come over to listen to our songs,” he says ahead of his performance in the Capital on Sunday, as a part of the Sounds of Freedom Music Festival, in association with Hindustan Times.

Ask him about his favourite city in India, and the Irish who played the role of pink in the cult classic film Pink Floyd: The Wall, says it is hard for him to pick out one single city.

“As I said, it is a huge country. But having said that, there’s a tough choice between Jaipur and Kerala. They are completely opposite to each other. Kerala has so much greenery around and then the backwaters. Jaipur has more of a literary, creative side to it. Something mysterious and dark,” he says.

Bob also shares that he will be visiting Agra to see the Taj Mahal. “I have never been able to visit the Taj Mahal before, despite my earlier visits. I also love the trains here and I am planning to take a train down to Agra,” he says.
