Kanye West has turned down a USD 500,000-per-show deal for a Las Vegas residency. The reason for his refusal to the offer by The Axis at Planet Hollywood, is yet to be revealed.
Too much already in my wallet - that's what rapper Kanye West seems to be saying. Kanye has turned down a USD 500,000-per-show deal for a Las Vegas residency. Kanye shunned an offer by The Axis at Planet Hollywood, that promised him a huge deal for just nine days work, reported TMZ.
The venue reportedly wanted the 37-year-old Stronger hitmaker to perform three shows a week for three weeks but he turned them down, though the reason is not known yet.
The deal would have put him ahead of Vegas' current top earners, Celine Dion, who earns USD 476,000 per show, Britney Spears, who is believed to make slightly less with USD 475,000 and Jennifer Lopez, who has just been offered a USD 350,000-per-gig contract with The Axis.
