“I’m very grateful and honoured to have worked with Niladri Kumar and Kapil Sibal. Kapilji’s lyrics are full of emotion and Niladri’s music has always been magical. I’m glad I could be a part of their journey,” Arijit says.

A source close to the film adds that Sibal wanted a humane touch to the song and opted for young underprivileged girls to sing in chorus along with Arijit. “He (Kapil) was of the opinion that every aspect of the film must take home a message of humanity.” the source said. Sibal, is too excited about the song himself and is hoping that audiences like his first ever song. “This song has been one of my most exciting projects. Niladri has done absolute wonders and after working on it for so long, I am looking forward to its release. I hope the song reaches and touches everyone” he says.
