A secret meeting was held by the now scattered girl band in London to discuss the future of their group.

The long-awaited get-together was arranged to rekindle their friendships and make final decisions about their public performance at the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee celebration.

“We all got together in January, apart from Mel B who was in LA. We had a lovely afternoon and just hung out and talked about babies and everything else,” the 36-year-old singer told the Daily Star at Rick Parfitt Jnr’s Rock Ball.

“There’s lots of rumours about a performance at the Queen’s Jubilee and we were so honoured to be asked. We tried to make it work but we just couldn’t get it together.

“It’s such a shame but our schedules are so different. We live on different continents and have to respect the wishes of all five girls and we couldn’t find a way to make it work,” she added.
