American pop star Janet Jackson has announced on her official website that she will launch her world tour on February 14 in Hong Kong. She plans to hit 35 cities in a tour dubbed
Number Ones, Up Close and Personal
, supporting her 2009 best of collection,
Number Ones
, a double-album featuring her 35 US hits. “This tour will be different from those of the past in the way that I will perform songs from my hits,”she said.
